Addi Road Food Pantry
Addi Road believes healthy affordable food is a human right. Our two well-stocked food pantries offer customers a wide choice of low-cost supermarket items and groceries, as well as free fruit and vegetables and free bread. Everyone is welcome at both food pantries in Marrickville and Camperdown, with no proof of need required.
Accepted items
We can only accept donations from the general public which are non-perishable and unopened. • Fresh fruit and vegetables • Rice • Flour • Pasta sauce • Cooking oil • Sugar • Salt • UHT milk • Tinned tomatoes • Chickpeas • Lentils • Dried pulses • Tinned fruit • Tinned fish • Instant noodles • Spices • Tea • Coffee • Jam • Honey • Breakfast cereal • Biscuits Kitchen, cleaning and sanitary products • Toilet paper • Shampoo/conditioner • Deodorant • Razors/shaving foam • Sanitary products • Toothbrushes/toothpaste • Laundry detergent • Dishwashing liquid • Tissues • Nappies (larger sizes) • Baby wipes • Household cleaning items – tea towels, dishcloths, sponges etc.,
Condition of items
Usable
Non-perishable and unopened. We cannot accept food items that have passed their 'use by' date. We CAN accept food items that are past their 'best before' date.
