Bicycle Garden

Pedal Power is our bicycle donation program. We repair pre-loved bikes donated by the public and give to people without means to access safe and affordable transport. Over the years, we have given bicycles to refugees and asylum seekers, people experiencing domestic violence, people with disability, international students, people on low incomes, essential workers, and youth refuges. All our bicycles are checked by a professional bike mechanic before we donate them. We also include helmets, locks and lights so you can get riding immediately. Our other programs: Open Workshop - Our regular drop-in workshop is held every Thursday night. Drop in to build, maintain or repair your bicycle with help from our volunteers. Chain Lynx is our dedicated workshop hours for women, trans and gender-diverse people – a welcoming space to work on bikes and build community.
