REuse

Dandelion Support Network is a grassroots not-for-profit organization based in New South Wales, Australia. Established in 2011, it supports children and families in need by accepting, sorting, and safety-checking children's clothes and nursery items. These items are then provided to families through hospitals and support agencies. The organization relies on community donations and volunteers to operate, aiming to ensure all babies and children have access to essential nursery items for their safety, well-being, and development.

Helpful tips

Our small team of volunteers would appreciate your help in preparing items before donating. This helps us to assist families as quickly as possible. Please wash, sort and bag items. Some tips on sorting: • Clothes – By size & gender (don’t need to split season) • Shoes bagged separately • Linen separately, can be all bagged together. • Toys – Bagged by 0-18mth, 18mth – 3yo, 3-5 yo & 6+ is really helpful! • Consumables and miscellaneous separately to above.
