Every Little Bit Helps

Every Little Bit Helps is a registered NFP charity. Since July 2014, we’ve been collecting, packing, and redistributing items that often go unused, to people in need including those experiencing homelessness, asylum seekers, victims of domestic violence, and vulnerable young people. We work closely with Women’s Refuges, Homeless Shelters, Youth and Asylum Centres, Community Centres, front line services and local community groups to get these essentials into the right hands. The catalyst for establishing Every Little Bit Helps was learning that while there are many facilities providing laundry and shower facilities, most are able to supply little more than running water and previously did not have regular and reliable access to basic toiletry products. Our belief is that every Australian should have access to a toothbrush and a bar of soap, and that by providing basic toiletries to people in need we are providing them with not only the essentials, but also a little bit of dignity.
