Northern Beaches residents, the Fixery is your go-to destination for having your favourite items repaired. Our wonderful volunteers will try to fix anything you can carry in – free of charge! The Fixery is operated by The Sydney Library of Things and generously supported by Northern Beaches Council.
Accepted items
Furniture/Miscellaneous: chairs, shoes, toys - we'll try to fix any small item you can carry in. Clothing repair: hems, elastic, seams, mending tears etc. Electrical (small appliances): toasters, lamps, coffee machines, blenders etc. Jewellery: when we have timeslots for jewellery we can repair costume jewellery only. Knife sharpening
Condition of items
Usable and unusable
All items must be clean.
Service fee
There is no fee for service, however donations are welcomed and appreciated.
How to get items to us
The Lounge, Cromer Community Centre, 150 Fisher Road, North Cromer, NSW 2099
Fix-It Hub happens on the second Saturday of each month, 10:30am to 1pm.
To ensure we can provide the best service and experience for all, it is essential to book your repair sessions in advance. We can repair one item per timeslot.
