Joy of Giving

We love toys, they're fun and hold so much love and value for our children. Joy of Giving is an independent, registered charity and not-for-profit community dedicated to saving toys from landfill and sharing joy with children and families. By creating avenues of bringing pre-loved toys to kids, we are able to reuse items that would otherwise be simply thrown away. Toys create an opportunity to show children the value of giving, sharing, and receiving while also educating them on sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. Our three key programs are: 🟢Donate – bring your quality pre-loved toys to our Hub and we’ll distribute them to the community, either through our toy swap program, toy stations, or via our charity partners. 🟢Swap – visit the hub and become a member so you can take toys home with you. Unlike a toy library, you can keep them for as long as you would like to play with them. One-time visit: $20 per family or Quarterly membership: $50 per family with unlimited visits. 🟢Toy Swap event – follow our socials to find out more about these events. We also run educational workshops to raise awareness about sustainability.
