LovEarth collects and repurposes all brands of used yoga mats to extend their lifecycle, diverting PVC mats from landfill. To date they’ve repurposed over 6,000 mats into community projects—including shelters, prison programs, animal bedding, and rural outreach. They also offer trade‑in incentives when purchasing new eco‑mats. For every kilogram of PVC created, 17kg of unnatural materials, mostly petrochemicals are used. PVC has been called the most environmentally harmful of all plastics because it won’t decompose - ever.
