Established in 1976, Raffan Kelaher & Thomas Pty Ltd is a family owned company of Fine Art and General Auctioneers & Valuers. Our auction rooms are in Leichhardt, in Sydney’s inner west. We offer auctioneering and valuation services to private, corporate and government clients. Our extensive two-day weekly auctions are well-known and are something of a Sydney institution: - Monday: Table Lots (Bric a Brac) Decorative Arts - Tuesday: Rustic, Outdoor, Antique and Period Furniture. We also hold regular Specialty Auctions, including Jewellery and Silver, Asian Art, 20th Century Design, Australiana, Australian Cedar and Fine & Decorative Arts

Service fee

We charge a commission of 20% (GST inc) plus a $5.50 handling, photography and cataloguing fee for each lot sold.

How to get items to us

Monday to Friday: 8am to 4pm Saturday: 9am to 12 noon

Please email photographs of the items you are looking to sell to valuations@rkta.com.au or use the submission form at the link below. If there are many items that need to be assessed, we can visit your home and inspect the items, and provide a verbal valuation of auction realisable value. For this service we charge a call out fee of $150 (GST inc). Our Valuations team will review and confirm the items we can accept and if requested can place estimates on your items as well. Please note during busy periods you can be waiting up to a week to hear a response from our team. We receive goods for sale on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 7.30am and 3.30pm by appointment.
