We make it easy for businesses, councils and individuals to keep unwanted items in use and out of landfill through our Pickup service, powered by innovative technology and backed by full traceability. Over the last 6 years, ReSmart has seen Co-founders Giorgio Baracchi and Marco Prayer Galletti build a network of partners and team to make recycling and reuse simple for Australians. Our vision is simple: we want to build a world where nothing is wasted because every unwanted item gets a second life. Once your items are collected, they are delivered to our recycling partners, whether directly or through our consolidation points. Our partners are scattered across Australia and specialise in recycling or reusing the diverse items we collect. To date, we (and our community) have diverted more than 1.9 million kg of valuable resources from landfill!

1. Items must be reasonably clean & dry: No dirt, food, or liquid. 2. Items must be safe: No chemical, oil, or toxic waste 3. We do not take organic items: No food, soil, or plants
Helpful tips
- Erase data before donating phones or laptops - Keep like items together e.g. soft plastics bundled or packed into one bag to save space and fit more! - Place small items on top to prevent them from getting lost or missed during sorting, ensuring maximum recycling. - Take a photo of your bags and add driver instructions to ensure a successful Pickup!
Service fee
Our Pickup cost starts from $15/month or you can choose our on-demand option for $19. Check our website to see whether your council subsidises the Pickup for their residents = FREE!
How to get items to us
1. Create a ReSmart account at resmart.co or download the ‘ReSmart’ app. 2. Collect your hard-to-recycle items e.g. soft plastics, clothes, e-waste, blister packs and more. 3. Choose your plan, size and day of Pickup. 4. Leave your bags out on collection day! Check your impact in your account.
