Share the Dignity is an Australian charity providing period products to women and anyone menstruating who is homeless, fleeing violence, or doing it tough. Two of our key campaigns: It's in the Bag Each November, we collect bags filled with essential period and personal hygiene products, to pass on to women and girls in need, to try to make Christmas a little brighter. You can choose whether you would like to pack the bag for an adult, teen or a mum and bub. Our website provides a guide to needed items. Dignity Drives Twice a year we hold a Dignity Drive. Every March and August we collect period products and pass these on to those in need through our registered charity partners.
Accepted items
We accept donations of new or gently pre-loved: - handbags - tote bag - backpack - overnight bag. We can accept empty bags. Or you can fill the bag for an adult, teen or a mum and bub using the guides on our website. For the 'Dignity Drives', we gratefully accept new products in original packaging, including pads, tampons, reusable pads, period undies, menstrual cups, and incontinence products at our collection points in Woolworths Supermarkets and participating businesses nationwide each March and August

If you are donating a pre-loved handbag, we ask that it is in great condition, clean and no clear signs of use.
How to get items to us
Donations for the 'It's in the Bag' drive can be dropped to Bunnings collection points fo rbetween 6 November to 22 November 2026.
