REcycle

TreadLightly is an Australian national recycling initiative focused on collecting and recycling unwanted sports and active lifestyle footwear, as well as sports balls, to reduce landfill waste. The recycled materials are transformed into products like gym flooring, playground surfaces, and anti-fatigue mats. TreadLightly partners with leading sports brands and retailers to provide accessible drop-off points across the country, promoting a circular economy and encouraging sustainable practices among Australians. This initiative is powered by the Australian Sporting Goods Association (ASGA) and recycler Save Our Soles (SOS).
